Q) How did u get into modeling and what was your first experience like?
A) I first got into modeling back when ANTM was the hottest thing on TV. A casting director for the show came across an online profile I had up and invited me to come to an open casting call. It was a bit nerve-racking to be standing in a room full of other gorgeous girls, all competing for limited spots on a television show. Although I didn’t receive one of the spots I did learn a lot about being confident and always exuding that.
Q) Where are you from?
A) Seattle, WA
Q) Funniest/craziest experience you’ve encountered as a model?
A) Funniest experience I would say was catching another model as she fell off of the runway during a bridal show. I was ready to walk and the model in front of me had just walked down and was making her way back, when she got to the end of the runway she tripped over her dress and almost took the whole stage down with her, but I was able to catch her. I felt embarrassed for her, but it was hilarious, luckily she wasn’t hurt.
Q) Who is your favorite music artist and why?
A) My favorite music artist out right now is definitely Trey Songz. He brings the heat. I love that in any one of his albums you’re going to get something to club and “turn up” to, you’re going to get something to be sexy & romantic to, he gives you music to mend that heartbreak, and when you just want to ride out, he gives you something for that as well. That man is talented…and fine.
Q) What turn you on and turn
A) An intelligent mind, engaging conversation, endearing eyes, and full lips, all turn on’s. Bad breath, conceitedness, empty head, lack of common sense, all turn off’s
Q) Where do you see your self 3 years from now?
A) Three years from now I see myself being the recognizable face of a major brand, working on my doctorate, and living comfortably with my family.
Q) What’s your idea of the perfect date?
A) I’m a simple woman, good wine, good conversation, and lots of laughs, equals the best date ever.
Q) Any other talents other them modeling? If so, what are they?
A) In addition to modeling I also write/perform spoken word
Q) How do you balance your personal life and have a modeling career?
A) It’s very tough to balance personal/family life but when you are determined it makes it that much easier. I always make sure my home is taken care of first because when your house is in order everything else falls in line. It’s all about prioritizing.
Q) Favorite attire and why?
A) Outside attire pretty simple: jeans, wife beater, heels/great shoes. I like to be comfortable and I feel like beauty is seen the easiest when you’re not trying to camouflage it with a whole costume. That’s why a “go see” outfit is so simple.
Q) If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
A) I wouldn’t change anything about me. Some years ago I definitely hated this height, but I’ve grown to love and accept every part of the woman I am.
Q) What do u think men would say your best feature is and why?
A) Just from looking I would say these long and everlasting legs. They are a major eye catcher they give you something to follow.
Q) If you could give any advice to aspiring models what would it be?
A) Be comfortable with yourself, and know from the get go what you are and are not comfortable with and what you will and will not put up with. Confidence is key and persistence is a virtue.
Q) What’s your idea of the perfect guy?
A) My fiancé. Sweet, caring, sense of humor, knows how to take care of home, hardworking, and knows how & when to handle me.
Q) What is love to you?
A) To me love is being there when your needed, compromising to move forward, sacrificing for the benefit of the relationship.
Q) What do you think about your first love?
A) I wouldn’t be the woman I am without my first love. I am thankful for the time and experience.
