LGBTQ do you really know? An exhaustive explainer on gender and sexual identities A lot if people seem to think there’s a huge difference between heterosexual and homosexual relationships. The thing is, there isn’t much of a difference except the gender. There’s a lot of similarities, from sneakiness to lying and cheating but there’s also a lot of love. Love is love, regardless of gender. Take for instance polyamorous relationships. Those are not simply reserved for heterosexual couples. Some people are, regardless of gender are happy in poly relationships. Also, even open marriages are common. Some think it keeps the spice in the relationship. It keeps the relationship fresh, kinky even. Relationships are not easy. Same sex & transgender relationships seem to be the hardest on a social aspect. We as a community seem to be scrutinized because of who we love. A lot of us are brutalized or even murdered because of that. Society will accept a person who chooses not to have their gender limited to either male or female but will brutally beat someone who loves a person from the same sex. People scream, “Love has no limits” but will accept a pedophile and not a man who loves a man. Society is twisted. The media has molded the minds of people of the world to accept the person who modifies their body but not love a specific person. Not much has changed in America. At one point, you couldn’t marry outside of your race and now it’s, “it’s a sin to marry within your gender”. The other thing is, “you can’t have a religion and be homosexual”. What am I missing? They patronize us and parade the deaths of people within our community like circus animals but have yet to tackle the bigger issue at hand.
