What do you want your viewers to take away from your work?
when you come to see me you will be getting quality work that is timeless and speaks to who you are in that time frame
What do you think are some of the things in photography you steer away from yourself?
probably landscapes… although beautiful and definitely need to be captured I just haven’t fallen in love with doing that type work yet
What were the difficulties you encountered when you first started photography?
just really not knowing where to start, or no one willing to mentor. there are a lot of pieces to this photography puzzle that with some early guidance could have saved me loads of time but that’s what a journey is all about, not the time it takes to get there but what you learn along the path so for that I am grateful because it made me better all around
What are your thoughts on working single images versus projects?
I like doing both but project can be long and drawn out and sometimes you just want to get in and out and on to the next
What are the disadvantages you face as a photographer, in this industry?
getting people to really understand this is not as simple as we make it look, it’s not about having a good camera, but there is a process from lighting to the camera to shooting to editing. it’s not a just clicking, there is definitely levels to this ish…..
What is one question nobody has ever asked you which you wish they would ask?
can I sit and watch you edit my images
As a photographer, can you explain what the difference between beauty and vulgarity when it comes to modeling?
that’s tricky because we don’t view things through the same eyes so it’s all subjective at the end of the day and if it makes you feel good and was your intent who am I to say it’s right or wrong
Which style of photography do you prefer, high fashion or eye candy?
honestly if I had to only shoot one thing it would be headshots and more on the beauty side of things
